Why work with an agency dedicated to retail store photography vs. working with a solo photographer? One word: TEAMWORK.

Ok, here are a few more reasons:
• We are a true partner in that we can handle all logistics, availability, turnaround times, etc.
• We have an in-house team across all time zones in the US that work together remotely on each shoot.
• We can produce photography and video for retail store capture - no need to find multiple creatives!
• We provide creative continuity to your brand when you use The Retail Archive to capture your locations.

Here is a good case study to show what this looks like in real life:

Burberry's latest window display on Chicago's Magnificent Mile required an expert touch to capture its brilliance. With the fast turnaround needed and heavy traffic along Michigan Avenue, the ideal time for our photo shoot was in the middle of the night. We had two days to pick from to capture and both looked like there was rain in the forecast.

Due to the demands of this shoot, the fast turnaround, and the tricky weather situation, we sent one of our founding partners to photograph this store, while the rest of the team was on standby to handle image review and retouching. This was truly an all-hands-on-deck effort to provide the best possible images with a fast turnaround. Despite the unexpected rain, we were well-prepared to manage the challenging conditions.

Arriving in Chicago at 10 pm, we began photographing the windows around midnight and sent the images to our Portland office to begin culling through them to check for issues while our photographer got some rest so that he could return again before sunrise to reshoot for any issues the rain may have caused. Even though the first set of images worked well, we returned at 4am once the rain had stopped and sent the images to our New York office to review.

The images showcase Burberry's updated window display in all its illuminated glory, reflecting the brand's dedication to creative excellence even under challenging circumstances.

And, of course, a little behind-the-scenes video of us at work!
